New York Therapy is seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to take cases in Staten Island

IMMEDIATE NEED: We are looking to bring on counselors for full-time (or part time) caseloads. We are the primary agency for Staten Island, so the schools will come to us first and it is guaranteed that you will have a full caseload in one location.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have DOE Fingerprinting (or be willing to get printed) to pick up caseloads.
  • NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor or NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker – ONLY.
  • Bilingual therapists must have Bilingual extension (or passing score on BEA or proficiency exam).
  • Availability to work in schools, during school hours.
  • Can not be concurrently working directly for the NYC DOE; Must be at least one year remove.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Provide monolingual or bilingual counseling services to Preschool and School-Age populations in preschools, public and private schools, and home settings.
  • Flexible Schedules: Full-Time/Part-Time positions available
