We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management, along with excellent leadership skills to supervise staff effectively.
Duties
- Manage warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee demand planning and production planning activities to meet customer requirements.
- Utilize transportation management systems for effective logistics coordination.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement processes to maintain stock availability.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and NVOCC for seamless freight operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
- Analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records using ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and financial reporting related to warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory management techniques and logistics planning.
- Proficient in using transportation management systems and AS400 software.
- Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and external partners.
