Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing environments, including critical care, home health, and acute care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Your expertise in nursing management and leadership will be essential in supervising staff and managing patient documentation effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care while monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage patient documentation and maintain accurate medical records in EMR systems.
  • Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance on best practices in patient care.
  • Conduct regular reviews of documentation to ensure compliance with medical standards.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
  • Oversee shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and quality of care.
  • Participate in case management activities to coordinate services for patients.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and budgeting as it relates to patient care.

Experience

  • Proven experience in home health Care agency , or acute care settings is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous management or supervising experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation review processes is essential.
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations and resident care requirements is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $ $61.76 per hour
