One of our clients in the Charlotte area is looking for Financial Analyst to add to their team. The Financial Analyst will have a combination of technical and functional experience in financial reporting and analysis. The Financial Analyst will ensure compliance with FERC, GAAP, and state regulations, and will analyze complex issues related to capital and asset accounting.

The Financial Analyst will prepare variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements, including Depreciation Expense analysis. The Financial Analyst will support the financial reporting needs related to the divestiture of a portion of the business, ensuring accurate representation of accounts. The Financial Analyst will communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision in all financial documentation.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50- $55/ hr. w2

Responsibilities

  • Prepare variance analysis for balance sheets and income statements, including AFUDC and Depreciation Expense analysis.
  • Develop financial schedules for SEC reporting, including capital expenditures, cash flows, and footnote disclosures.
  • Coordinate and prepare data requests and governmental filings, including quarterly and annual FERC reports.

Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of experince of increasingly diverse or complex experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with financial applications
  • Proven track record of leading and coordinating special projects and data requests.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA candidate, or possesses a graduate degree in Accounting, Business, or related fields.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
