Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. They will lead maintenance initiatives, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and activities to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training and development opportunities for team members, and ensure a skilled workforce.
  • Schedule maintenance activities and allocate resources to meet operational needs effectively.
  • Communicate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and priorities.
  • Identify and solve maintenance-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Improve processes and procedures to enhance the maintenance workflow and efficiency.
  • Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a facility management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, safety regulations, and equipment.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Experience in scheduling and project management.
  • Familiarity with performance evaluation and employee development techniques.
