Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in various automotive systems and the ability to work effectively with both mechanical and electrical components. Experience with dealership environments and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues accurately.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct alignment services and ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including diesel engine repair and welding techniques.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
  • Dealership experience is preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including automotive diagnostics and repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive electrical systems.
  • Experience with ADAS technology is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
