Job Overview

Slope and Hatch, a laid-back mountain vibe shop known for tacos, hot dogs and great drinks is opening in Snowmass Village We are looking to hire all FOH staff We are in need of between 6 and 8 FT or PT dedicated and front or house/food runners. We are flexible and would love to see people who make the mountain work during the day come and work with us at night Since the open hours are different than our other shops, exact shift times are currently in the works. In this role, you will be responsible for serving really tasty mountain-sized tacos and hot dogs to both first-time and repeat customers. Providing a laid-back but high quality service experience. We are looking for food runners/bussers and hostess/FOH. We understand that everyone unwinds differently, but we do not allow drugs or drinking on the job or in the workplace. Please note that these wage rates are negotiable and dependant upon experience. These jobs will also share in the tip pool, so stated wages are not incuding tips.

Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experience through attentive service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Utilize the Toast POS system for taking orders and for payments.

Skills

  • Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards.
  • Experience with POS systems (Toast) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the team.
  • Previous hotel experience or guest services background is advantageous. Join us as we create memorable dining experiences for our guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
