Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team on a PRN basis. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. The ideal candidates will possess a wide range of nursing skills and experiences, ensuring comprehensive care for patients with diverse needs.

Duties

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and wound care.
  • Assist in triage and emergency situations, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems for efficient patient record management.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Critical care experience, including ICU or emergency room settings.
  • Long-term care or assisted living environments.
  • Familiarity with Epic or Cerner EMR systems.
  • Experience in specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or infectious disease care.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs is a plus. We welcome applicants who are committed to providing exceptional patient care while demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions.
