Junior Event Sales Manager

We're hiring a Junior Event Sales Manager to join our catering team in Long Beach. This is a growth position where you'll be trained and mentored by a Senior Event Sales Manager while assisting with event sales, planning, and execution.

This role is in-office 5 days a week and requires weekend event attendance (Saturday/Sunday) when scheduled.

What you'll do (with guidance and training):

  • Support client inquiries and event planning from proposal through execution
  • Help prepare menus, proposals, contracts, and event details
  • Assist with site inspections, notes, and logistics documentation
  • Create event sheets, timelines, floor plans, and packing lists
  • Coordinate with culinary, staffing, warehouse, vendors, and marketing
  • Support day-of event execution and client satisfaction
  • Learn and become proficient in Caterease

What we're looking for:

  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Organized, proactive, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in events/hospitality/sales is a plus (not required)
  • Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain)
  • Opportunities to earn commissions as you progress
  • Bilingual Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
