Overview

Seeking a Tumbling and/or Gymnastics Coach with experience teaching fundamentals through advanced tumbling classes.

Duties

  • Ability to teach beginner-advanced classes
  • A fun, upbeat personality that keeps kids excited to learn
  • Patient, encouraging, and caring coaching style
  • Monitor participants' progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements
  • Enforce behavior management strategies to maintain a respectful and focused environment
  • Committed to creating classes that are both productive and fun
  • Well versed on safety, spotting, and drills
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children or students in a coaching or teaching capacity
  • Background in sports coaching with knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety standards
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies to motivate diverse learners
  • Experience teaching physical education or related disciplines such as cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Judo/Karate), or swimming is highly desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced and busy teaching environment while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism

Pay: $ $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
