Description

Oracle's Data Center Organization is on the lookout for a talented Program Manager to join our project control team, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our data center projects. With your technical expertise and program management skills, you will contribute to the overall improvement of project control processes, ensuring that Oracle's data centers are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities: Schedule Management:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera, identifying critical paths and milestones.
  • Create short-term execution plans and integrate subcontractor schedules when required.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery.
Cost Control:
  • Lead cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Analyze financial impacts of changes and provide insights to the team.
  • Ensure cost-efficiency and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Advanced Project Control Techniques:

  • Implement and optimize project control methodologies to enhance cost and schedule methodologies.
  • Utilize advanced techniques for risk analysis, change control.
  • Develop and refine project control processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Analyze large datasets related to project costs, Primarily schedules, and performance to derive actionable insights and mitigation strategies.
  • Create predictive models and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Develop automated reporting systems to provide real-time project health indicators.

Technical Expertise and Tool Management:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for project management tools such as Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud
  • Manage and optimize the use of these tools, providing training and Leadership to the project control team.
  • Explore and implement new technologies to enhance project control capabilities.
Risk Mitigation:
  • Identify and assess construction risks, prioritizing and quantifying potential issues.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans, ensuring project resilience.
  • Regularly review and update risk management documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders during change processes.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards and reports, providing visibility to project stakeholders.
  • Analyze project KPIs and trends, identifying areas for improvement and making data-backed recommendations.

Process Improvement and Documentation:

  • Continuously seek ways to streamline project control processes, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project control activities.

Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7–9 years of experience in a program/project management role, with a strong focus on project control.
  • Advanced knowledge with Primavera (P6) or Oracle Primavera Cloud scheduling tools is required.
  • Familiarity with float management, critical path method (CPM), and sequencing logic. 
  • Strong communication skills: ability to synthesize complex schedule data into clear updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to work with large datasets and create meaningful insights.
  • Experience in developing and implementing project control processes, risk management, and change control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset, capable of making informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, effectively conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or relevant field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Experience with data centers, high-tech infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of project controls functions. Ideal candidates proactively analyze workflows, recommend refinements, and contribute to building a healthy, iterative project controls environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • PMP certification is preferred,

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
