About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on, highly organized Maintenance Technician to oversee building, equipment, and vehicle maintenance across our Connecticut locations, including Hartford, Windsor, South Windsor, Windsor Locks, New Haven, and Storrs.

You'll also help keep our food trucks and catering vehicles in top condition through regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance tracking.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and repair restaurant equipment, including commercial kitchen appliances and smokers
  • Perform general building maintenance and coordinate larger repairs when needed
  • Track and schedule routine vehicle maintenance for our catering fleet and food trucks
  • Maintain maintenance logs and schedules for all assigned assets
  • Visit each location regularly to stay ahead of maintenance issues
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the Bear's team — flexibility is key here

What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between locations (required)
  • Strong organizational and tracking skills — you'll be the hub for keeping our maintenance systems on schedule
  • Solid experience in equipment maintenance and repair, especially within restaurant or food service settings
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical knowledge is a plus
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty
