QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 8-10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with .NET core and not just .NET framework, including .NET 4.7 and .NET 8 (good to have).
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs from scratch, not just consuming them.
  • Exposure to APIs used internally or across multiple applications, incorporating significant business logic.
  • Expertise with event-driven architecture, including event producers and consumers.
  • Knowledge and application of Clean Architecture principles for maintainable and scalable API design.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure services, as the team is in the process of migrating applications to AWS.
  • Ability to differentiate between Monolithic, Microservices, and Event Driven architectures.
  • Understanding of use cases for each architecture type and the process of transitioning from monolithic systems to microservices.

SUMMARY & OVERVIEW:

This is a high-priority, critical project where you will work closely with business stakeholders and product teams to define requirements. You will play a key role in greenfield project development and be deeply involved in system design, defining project requirements, leading and mentoring one or more teams. While many of our applications are currently on-premises, we are gradually migrating to AWS Cloud, with some use of Azure Cloud. This role is primarily backend-focused using .NET Core; expertise with frontend technologies is not mandatory.

Compensation:

$169,000 per year base salary
