JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and shipping operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Track and manage inventory.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, or related fields.
• Experience in lieu of education for an exceptional candidate.
• 5-7 years of experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• A mix of Office and Facility (Plant) Environment at single manufacturing facility.
• Required to sit and type on a keyboard throughout the day.
• Walking required during the day to Supervise employees.
• Speak and write clearly and effectively in English in order to communicate with internal and external business partners.
• Demonstrate the manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating appropriate equipment in the department, including the use of a computer.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to perform work in a manufacturing environment, with usually moderate noise levels and exposure to fragrances and chemicals used in the manufacture of personal care/cosmetic products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65, $70,000.00 per year
