About the role

We're looking for a hands-on, proactive truck technician who takes pride in keeping trucks running smoothly - whether they're on the road, standing for long periods, or in transit. You'll handle all aspects of maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and help ensure maximum uptime for our fleet. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working on trucks and thrives in a fast-moving, service-driven environment.

This role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities
Perform regular preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel box trucks and Thermo King reefer unitsPrepare trucks for transport (e.g., battery disconnects, tire deflation, securing equipment, coordinating with haulers)Handle on-road repairs, diagnostics, and emergency service callsManage parked fleet health - ensuring batteries, fluids, and systems stay healthyTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and computer systems onboard the trucksReplace and maintain network and sensor components on autonomous systemsDocument all work performed, parts used, and system changesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSupport and collaborate with the engineering team for vehicle improvementsBe on-call for off-hours or weekend issues when needed

Skills
3+ years of truck maintenance or diesel technician experienceCertified and qualified to perform DOT inspections per FMCSA regulations
Proven ability to diagnose and solve mechanical, electrical, and computer issuesComfortable with wiring (soldering, splicing, crimping)Familiarity with CAN bus diagnostics and vehicle sensor systemsOrganized, reliable, and takes initiative without needing micromanagementValid Texas Class C driver's licenseTechnical trade certification or equivalent experienceExperience working with Thermo King or other reefer systemsStrong communication skills and a service-first mindsetA CDL license is a plus for relocation and hauling support
