Position Summary
The
Automotive Installation Technician
is responsible for the professional installation, calibration, service, and removal of Intoxalock ignition interlock devices (breathalyzers) in customer vehicles. This role requires strong attention to detail, wiring knowledge, and excellent customer service to ensure safe and accurate installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and remove Intoxalock ignition interlock devices.
  • Diagnose and repair technical or wiring issues.
  • Provide clear instructions and hands-on training for customers on device operation.
  • Follow company and state program procedures for compliance and documentation.
  • Identify and report potential tampering or misuse.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of experience with 12-volt electrical systems.
  • Experience installing car stereos, alarms, or remote start systems preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $20.00 –$24.00/hour, based on experience.
  • $3,500 Sign-On Bonus.

  • Monday–Friday 8 AM - 5PM schedule, no weekends.
