Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression of our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage reservations and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, including billing details.
  • Process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions responsibly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist in training new staff members on front desk procedures and customer service standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guests.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a wider range of guests.
  • Proficiency in cash handling, payroll management, and basic bookkeeping practices.
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and retail management principles is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in sales management or retail sales is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
