Rape Crisis & Victim Services-Community Education

The Women's Center is seeking a full-time Training and Outreach Specialist to provide professional trainings on the topics of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and other forms of interpersonal violence to professionals working with survivors of these crimes. In addition, this position provides outreach to various community entities on The Women's Center services.

Responsibilities Include:

· Provide training on trauma and various forms of interpersonal violence to professionals and community members

· Development of professional programming

· Travel throughout Tarrant County to provide trainings

· Collect statistical data and input it, accurately and timely, into an online system

· Attend required staff meetings

· Develop and maintain relationships with community partners

· Provide outreach and trainings to various community partners, with a focus on Spanish-speaking services

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education, or other social services related field

· Ability to connect with professionals, including law enforcement, hospital staff, and advocates

· Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

· Ability to balance working independently and with a team, collect, and input data

· Ability to function in a non-profit setting focused on ending sexual assault

· Spanish-speaking bilingual preferred
