We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at new Residence Inn Hamden . The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Our Residence Inn Open for almost 2 years now , a top extended stay Marriott in the Market .
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Operate phone systems to assist guests with their needs and provide information about hotel services.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a hotel setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality management is beneficial but not required.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and other office equipment.
