Equipment Operator and Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator and Laborer to join our agronomy team. This role involves operating heavy machinery, driving a semi-truck (valid CDL or able to obtain one), assisting with various yard tasks, and supporting site operations to ensure project efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agriculture , mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate a range of equipment including loaders, sprayers, and trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects with a dynamic team dedicated to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and front loader trucks to facilitate construction activities.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues promptly.
- Support the transportation of materials using semi-trucks, loaders, forklift and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment operations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to those machinery and tools.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory; experience with commercial driving is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads safely.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures on all job sites. This position is integral to our construction operations and offers opportunities for growth within the company for motivated individuals with relevant experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
