Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting warehouse operations and ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes.

Duties

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as needed
  • Drive assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers
  • Assist with warehouse activities including moving goods, organizing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Ensure all deliveries comply with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, courier services, or delivery driving
  • Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Warehouse experience is advantageous for handling inventory efficiently
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and driving regulations
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail

This role requires a valid driver's license or equivalent, along with the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to providing top-quality service on every delivery route.

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
