YLG has a current opportunity available for an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA-accredited law school. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organizational, writing and analytical skills.

Associate Attorney Qualifications:

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in California
  • 1-5 years of litigation experience
  • Business background and/or familiarity with corporate law is a plus*
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must possess strong written and analytical skills, as well as be committed to exceptional client service
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to multitask
  • Detailed oriented and strong rapport-building skills
  • Exercising a high degree of initiative, independence and the ability to meet time frames in performing assigned tasks
  • Korean language A PLUS

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Consistently engage in preparation of client-ready reports, formal and informal
  • Independently manage a high-volume caseload
  • Regularly handle court appearances and depositions/trial preparation
  • Legal research, discovery, fact investigation, law and motion practice, interface with expert witnesses, social media investigations
