Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Medspa. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and team members, ensuring a positive and professional experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster a friendly atmosphere while efficiently managing daily front desk operations. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
  • Manage incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, directing inquiries or taking messages accurately
  • Maintain bookings and schedule for all providers
  • Assist customers with product information, including product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance sales
  • Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure a clean, attractive shopping environment
  • Support inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting stock counts using retail math skills
  • Assist in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of items
  • Promote additional sales through upselling techniques while ensuring customer satisfaction remains a priority
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold store standards in merchandising and customer service
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to foster loyalty and positive experiences

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers in bilingual environments (speak spanish) is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions is highly desirable
  • Experience supervising or leading others in a retail setting is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to demonstrate product features effectively through demos or explanations
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create welcoming interactions
  • Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and medspa operations is beneficial
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and stay calm under pressure
