Position Full Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Developer with a background in full-stack web application and database development on customer-facing, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have agile development experience in modern web frameworks & data architecture processes. The Full-Stack Developer will need a rich understanding of multi-platform applications, proven development tools & approaches, and pragmatic integration of pre-built software. The Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for design, development, test, and support within a small team environment.

Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in efficiently interfacing with internal customers to gather requirements and function/feature enhancements to our technology platform.
  • Participate in the development, release, and maintenance of Web-based software applications.
  • Evaluate and identify appropriate platforms (web application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company's products and services.
  • Evolve existing applications as needed.
  • Quickly take ownership of projects.
  • Must be able to present value to client teams and showcase the value of the InSite Platform.
  • Enable a modern, responsive front-end & multi-platform experience.
  • Build creative solutions that bridge 3rd party software via internal development.
  • Refactor existing content to improve the platform and resolve bugs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Have at least 3+ years of full-stack Software Development experience.
  • JavaScript, HTML and CSS expertise.
  • Expert Python developer.
  • 2+ years' experience with Django, Flask, and other Frameworks.
  • Experienced with SQL, RESTful APIs, good understanding of data structures and design patterns.
  • Excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across matrix organizations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Possess analytical, qualitative, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well thought-out decisions.
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and time management skills.
  • Be skilled in understanding user stories, business, and system requirements.
  • Experience using development tools (e.g., JIRA), plus project management/process software (MS Project, Visio, or equivalent)

Bonus Skills/Experience:

  • Testing (Unit, Integration, Regression, & Performance),
  • Docker, Podman/OCI-compliant containers, Kubernetes,
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, Agile/Scrum, AI/Machine Learning
  • Developing & releasing mobile applications (iOS, Android)
  • 1+ years of experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience in implementing AI integration.
