Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to work on home remodeling projects in the Kitchen Tune-Up Grapevine, TX area. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive to jobsite on time in appropriate work clothing.
- Follow instructions given by project manager, Corby Walker
- Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
- Maintain safe working environment for you and our customers
- Communicate with project manager daily about progress via phone/text/punch list
- Work quickly and efficiently to meet or exceed timeline given
- Bring necessary tools, employee should own basic hand tools, saw, ladder and bring to jobsite.
- Stellar work ethic & good attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
- Able to drill for hinges
- Able to install doors and drawer fronts
- Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
- Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
- Ability to work in Kitchen Tune-Up Grapevine, TX and surrounding communities
- Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level, but also maintain workflow.
- Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time. Check twice or ask to avoid mistakes
- Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Prior experience in cabinet refacing
- Prior experience in cutting moldings
- Able to install crown molding
- Basic plumbing - i.e. sink reconnect
- Basic electrical - i.e. wire light or outlet with existing electrical
- Rapid growth in the market.
