Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation

JOB OBJECTIVE: TempStaff employees perform a variety of temporary assignments. In this role, the ideal candidate be responsible for calculating and collecting fees for solid waste disposal at the City Landfill and directing residents and commercial haulers to the appropriate dumping areas. Assignments may last from one day to 120 days or longer.

This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of high school, two (2) years of general clerical experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
