Job Summary

The STYMCO Medical company has an immediate opening for eager workers who are experienced in accounts receivable/ collections/ posting. Must be comfortable dealing with insurance companies over the telephone and fluid but careful in their fax/or email communications. If you are engaging, charismatic on the telephone, patient, good at working as a team and of the highest integrity we would be interested in you contacting us.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Monitors overdue accounts
  • Collect debts from Insurance Companies
  • Correcting billing errors and resubmitting claims to insurance carriers
  • Review EOBs and send appeals to Insurance Companies
  • Follow up on payments errors, low disbursement, denials, etc.
  • High level of customer service to insurance companies by responding accurately and professionally to inquiries and telephone calls
  • Maintains and complies to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Experience:

  • 2 year experience in healthcare insurance collection field with the knowledge of working aging reports as well as being able to read and understand and Explanation of Benefits.
  • Computer and word processing skills, and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Knowledge of Medisoft (preferable)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
