Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety standards.

Duties

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Assist in bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining area if needed
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining areas and service stations.
  • Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to requests and inquiries.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience using POS systems, particularly Toast, is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members.
  • A background in hotel or guest services can be beneficial for enhancing guest interactions.
