Role SummaryAt Rivian Volkswagen Group Technologies, we always strive for excellence. The HR Training Program Manager will be leading the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous improvement of our flagship 6-month training program. This will be an month project. You will be responsible for successfully guiding high-potential participants through their transition from a corporate culture to a fast-paced US software environment, ensuring they achieve software excellence and contribute effectively to our mission.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Management and Execution :
- Design, manage, and continuously improve a 6-month-Training program and Development program, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all participants.
- Coordinate participants onboarding in the US together with respective areas
- Coordinate all program logistics from end-to-end, including scheduling orientation sessions, organizing training workshops, planning networking events, and managing program communications.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including timelines, learning roadmaps, and resource guides for trainees and their managers.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the program, focusing on trainee performance, engagement, and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all trainees, providing guidance and support as they navigate the transition from Corporate in Germany to startup mindset and software environment here in the US
- Foster a strong sense of community and peer support by facilitating regular cohort check-ins, group reflection sessions, and collaborative projects.
- Guide trainees through their individual learning journeys, helping them set meaningful developmental goals, understand performance expectations, and access necessary learning resources.
Learning Experience & Content Curation:
- Apply modern adult learning principles and instructional design theory to create effective and engaging digital learning experiences and coordinate this with German counterparts.
- Act as a central liaison between trainees, their direct managers, mentors, and senior leadership.
- Proactively follow up with leaders and managers to monitor trainee progress, gather performance feedback, and ensure alignment on training objectives and expectations.
- Equip managers with the tools and guidance needed to effectively support and develop their trainees.
- Develop and deliver regular program updates and progress reports to key stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for opportunity.
User Support & Enablement:
- Develop and deliver training, user guides, and FAQs to promote LMS adoption and empower users to get the most out of the platform.
- Continuously gather feedback from users to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in the learning experience.
Required:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in driving projects and adult learning
- Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and analytical problem-solver who can diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred:
- Having worked in an international environment
Salary Range for Palo Alto, California based applicants: Base salary of $117,200 - $146,500 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
