Description Designing and implementing multi-vendor routers, switches, firewalls, and phone systems on multiple projects; Configure and manage network monitoring software such as Solarwinds; Implementing data warehouses, developing SSIS ETL processes, and power BI dashboard providing real time data analytics to clients; Designing, implementing and supporting Cisco Voice technologies, devices involving Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection Voicemail, Unified Contact Center Express and Voice Gateways; Utilizing AWS and Azure cloud connectivity to enterprise and VMWare virtualization technologies; Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise security using Network Firewalls, VPN, Endpoint Security, IDS/IPS systems using devices comprising CheckPoint, Cisco ASA, Meraki, Juniper SRX, CradlePoint and Sonicwalls; Configuring firewall technologies such as Access Lists, Application and URL filtering, High Availability, NAT, Site-to-Site and Remote-Access VPN; Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting with Routing technologies including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Policybased Routing, HSRP, Route Redistribution and switching technologies including VLANs, Trunking, EtherChannel, Spanning-Tree.
Experience qualifications Five (5) years of Progressive Systems Engineering Experience; Cisco CCDA: Network Design, Cisco CCNA: Routing and Switching, Cisco CMNA: Meraki Systems certifications; Juniper JNCIP-ENT: Enterprise Routing and Switching and Juniper JNCIS-SEC: Security certifications; VMWare VCP6-NV: Network Virtualization and VMware VCA6-DCV: Data Center Virtualization certifications; CheckPoint CCSE: Security Engineer certification; Solarwinds SCP certification; and Microsoft MCP Windows Server certification.
Educational requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Networking or a related specialty field.
