Duties

As a Kitchen Prep, your responsibilities will include:

  • Making sauces, cutting vegetables, checking backup materials
  • Ensuring all food handling procedures comply with safety and hygiene standards
  • Utilizing knife skills for meal preparation and presentation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Participating in catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service
  • Supporting the team in various kitchen tasks
  • Be able to learn and work new equipment
  • Be able to follow recipes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a kitchen or restaurant setting
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Strong skills and experience in cooking and meal preparation
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and management
  • A passion for food service and commitment to delivering high-quality meals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $10.50 per hour
