We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations. The Truck Driver will operate box trucks, perform loading and unloading tasks, and ensure timely delivery of products to various locations.

Duties

  • Safely operate a box truck for deliveries, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route information and delivery confirmations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of goods as required by the delivery schedule.
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adapting to changing conditions or obstacles.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, providing familiarity with logistics operations.
  • Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is not necessary.
  • with experience in driving box trucks is essential.
  • Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and move items safely.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
  • Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
