Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking while handling cash handling duties with integrity.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during banquets, catering events, or nightclub functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar stations without compromising quality or speed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order entry.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in food industry roles including serving, catering, or retail math is advantageous.
