Guest Service Agent

A hotel guest service agent is the primary point of contact for guests, handling check-in and check-out, managing reservations, and answering inquiries. They also resolve issues, coordinate with other hotel staff to fulfill requests, process payments, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions. Core responsibilities
- Guest management: Greet guests warmly, manage the check-in and check-out process, and provide room keys or key cards.
- Reservations: Handle new reservations, cancellations, and inquiries, often using a hotel's property management system.
- Guest requests: Respond to guest questions and requests for services.
- Problem resolution: Address guest complaints and issues with a professional and empathetic attitude, striving for a satisfactory resolution.
- Information and assistance: Act as a local expert, providing information on hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
- Coordination: Liaise with other hotel departments like housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage to ensure guest needs are met.
- Financial tasks: Process payments, manage guest accounts, and provide accurate invoices.
- Maintaining order: Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
