About the Opportunity
Are you a seasoned Labor & Delivery RN who thrives under pressure and wants to work at a high-acuity, fast-paced facility that delivers over 400 babies a month? HireNow Staffing is hiring for one of Houston's most advanced Level IV Maternal hospitals. We're looking for dedicated, honest, and experienced RNs who are fully committed to night shift work and passionate about delivering safe, compassionate care to laboring patients.
This is not a starter position. This is a job for a confident, skilled, and focused nurse who can hit the ground running.
What You'll Be Doing
You will collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, midwives, and a dedicated women's health team to:
Deliver direct patient care throughout all stages of labor and postpartum recovery
Conduct assessments, administer medications, monitor vitals and fetal well-being
Communicate critical information effectively to the healthcare team and family members
Manage 12 labor beds and support overflow antepartum and swing beds as needed
Uphold safety and documentation standards in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications (Please read carefully)
Texas RN License (or multistate compact license) Active & unencumbered
BSN required No ADN or pending degree candidates will be accepted
3+ years of total acute care RN experience
Minimum 1.52 years recent Labor & Delivery hospital experience
Availability for night shift only This is a firm requirement, no exceptions
Updated resume required Dates and L&D units must be accurate and verifiable
Preferred Candidates Will Also Have:
Extended experience in women's services (antepartum, postpartum, mother/baby)
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Honesty about shift, role, and location preferences we only want to move forward with nurses who are genuinely committed to the role
Licenses & Certifications
RN License State of Texas or Multistate Compact
BLS (American Heart Association)
Additional certifications (NRP, ACLS, etc.) may be required based on unit needs
