What does Locke Supply offer?
Our focus at Locke Supply is to develop each associate to his/her full potential. Each new hire will be placed in the Locke Development Program, which is designed to help you find the best path for your career at Locke Supply. You will receive sales training, customer service training, and be paired with a mentor who will help with your development.
What are the responsibilities?
It's a challenging, hands-on role, where you'll work daily with our customers to make sure, they have an outstanding experience every time they enter a Locke Supply location. You will also help to advise our customers on new products and help them identify cost-effective solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn about different trades, along with a basic understanding of the Locke Supply product offerings.
This position oversees and manages projects awarded to the department. Provides documentation, material coordination, and support to customers and sales staff during projects. Support the overall Branch sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to internal and external customers. This position also establishes and maintains superior customer and vendor relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Evaluates percentage of gross return on project. Maintains gross margin levels established by management in project quotations. Responsible for ensuring product is ordered and billed accurately. Address and correct complications as they are reported, including but not limited damages, returns, shortages, etc. to maximize customer satisfaction. Ensures material is purchased with the best pricing terms from manufacturers. Contacts and negotiates with vendors for special terms and pricing for supplies and materials regarding quoted projects. Perform appropriate expediting functions to ensure material is shipped by vendor and received by customer in the agreed-upon time frame.
Communicates scheduling and shipping dates changes with customer and sales staff. Create and process change orders as requested and maintain billing on the project until closes.
While customer service is the focus, you will also have several other responsibilities in the day-to-day operations. These include project management, invoicing customers and inside sales responsibilities.

What are the requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically with Excel and Outlook
- Desire to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Occasional travel may be required and could include sales calls to customers' offices and/or jobsites.
