Our locations:

  • Our Ringwood home is situated on a gorgeous 3-acre lot in a beautiful rural setting with 9 residents. The dining room looks out onto a huge screened-in-porch leading to a spectacular backyard. Our three separate living areas provide plenty of room for conversation, game playing, and other activities as well as small nooks for quieter moments to read or listen to music.
  • Our Lake in the Hills home is situated on 2.5 acres in a cozy neighborhood and is home to 18 residents. The spacious home has an open floor plan with large great room, kitchen, exercises room, library, porch and even a salon Walking paths surround the community and a large gazebo for residents to enjoy overlooking the garden.

Shift Details: Full time and Part time - Lake in the Hills location Overnight SHIFT

Care Giver/Care Partner Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining the personal environment (i.e., clothing, linen, personal belongings)
  • Regularly review, follow and adhere to the residents' care plans
  • Prepare and serve meals to Residents
  • Gather, wash and distribute Resident laundry
  • Attend in-service training
  • Observe community policies and procedures regarding attendance, timeliness, house rules, teamwork, customer service and other policies/ procedures that may be introduced from time to time
  • Adhere to Universal Precautions and Infection Control procedures
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Caregiving experience required. CNA license preferred
  • Strong desire to serve the elderly
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pass background check as defined by The Heathers Senior Homes' background check policy
  • Sit, stand, and walk frequently. Push, pull, reach above shoulders, squat, bend, balance, crouch occasionally.
  • Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Use hand for simple and firm grasping and fine manipulation
  • Occasional exposure to blood/body fluids as required to provide Resident care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
