Laborer – Con Agg Global

As a Laborer at Con Agg Global, you'll play a vital role in keeping our waterfront terminal and aggregate operations running safely and efficiently. You'll work hands-on alongside our operators, mechanics, and supervisors to support daily production and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site operations including material movement, cleanup, and general yard work.
  • Monitor and support heavy equipment operations — loaders, stackers, conveyors, and barges — ensuring safe working distances and proper communication with operators.
  • Perform hands-on repairs, maintenance, and adjustments to equipment under supervision.
  • Use hand tools and power tools for minor fabrication, repairs, and upkeep.
  • Shovel material, clear debris, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and assist with spotting, flagging, and equipment checks.

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
  • Team-oriented attitude and ability to follow direction in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

This is a boots-on-the-ground position critical to Con Agg Global's mission of modernizing urban material logistics through marine-based operations. Laborers are the backbone of the team — supporting barge unloading, terminal maintenance, and the safe, steady flow of materials that keep New York City building.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
