Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the front desk operations at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. This role is vital in ensuring guest satisfaction, smooth daily operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous hotel experience and multilingual skills are highly valued to enhance guest relations and communication.

The role must have flexibility to cover desk shifts, normal hours will be 1pm-9pm

Duties

  • Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Oversee reservation systems, including multi-line phone systems and guest booking platforms
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly
  • Conduct night audits and ensure accurate financial transactions at shift end
  • Train and mentor front desk team members on customer service standards and hotel policies
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette and ensure the front desk provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist in resolving guest issues to promote guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with hospitality standards and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management, hotel management, or front desk supervision
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with night audit procedures is advantageous
  • Hospitality or resort experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
