Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations to ensure profitability, productivity, and superior customer satisfaction. This position combines team leadership, sales management, and technical understanding of automotive products and services.

The Store Manager oversees sales associates, service technicians, and support staff, ensuring every customer receives expert guidance and high-quality service. The role involves managing daily operations, driving sales goals, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding company standards for safety and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-oriented leader with strong automotive knowledge and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the automotive retail and service store.
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Drive sales performance, ensuring targets and profitability goals are consistently met.
  • Manage inventory, product ordering, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all services—tire installation, alignments, balancing, and lift kit installations—meet quality and safety standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any issues professionally.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Promote store marketing initiatives and customer retention programs.

Experience

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and retail sales processes is required.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
