We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Corporate Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, deep technical accounting expertise, and experience in job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and job costing processes to provide accurate financial insights for decision-making.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvements and implement financial systems or tools to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in financial management.
  • Proven experience in job costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Construction highly preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $140,000.00 per year
