Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Directly develop and train the direct reports, supervisors, and coordinators.
- Manage Maintenance help desk in conjunction with Director and the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Review all downtime reports to assure maximum availability by identifying trends or problem areas, and determine any necessary corrective action.
- Generate inspection criteria for Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspection forms for Wild Adventures.
- Provide maintenance training, as well as safety related training to all staff members.
- Contact Ride Manufacturer's to assure proper maintenance practices and receive prior approval for any modifications.
- Document all pertinent communication with Ride Manufacturer's.
- Review Daily Ride Status Report and follow-up on any necessary requirements. Review all parts requisitions for proper information.
- Determine all necessary annual maintenance needs for each ride, then develop annual work plans for Ride Maintenance team.
- Facilitate proper inventory levels are maintained in the parts warehouse
- Provide park coverage during park operational hours and communicate with park management on the status of any ride downtime situation.
- Manage all contractors related to maintenance function, materials and on-site personnel.
- Cover supervision of other areas when other management is not available.
- Develop goals and complete annual Performance Evaluations on all Team Members.
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
- Satisfy Wild Adventures' standards for performance and conduct. For example, report to work regularly and on time.
- Create "Memories Worth Repeating" for our guests
- Perform other duties as needed

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
Experience: Four (+) years related experience required; mechanical understanding of complex machinery, electrical, carpentry, electrical, vehicle maintenance, pneumatic and hydraulic experience a plus. Basic knowledge of electrical control systems and troubleshooting.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be required

Other Requirements: Highly motivated, self-starter, Ability to work effectively with others, Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, Ability to work well in stressful situations, Ability to use hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and mechanical blueprints during routine maintenance/troubleshooting, Ability to accept frequent changes in work schedule and work extended hours, Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as electric drill, drill press, side grinder, porta band, saws all, electric hoist, chain saw, band saw, jig saw, torque wrench, and impact wrench, Ability to speak, read and writes English well enough to effectively communicate with others, Dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules.
