Job Overview: General Manager
Responsible for providing leadership, training, financial stability, revenue management, and property oversight. Additionally, over the execution of hotel operations, relationship management, brand standards, and guest experience.

· Be efficient: Take ownership and play your part to get things done by making things easier for guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Returns:
· Prepare annual budget, P&L, and sales and marketing plans to accurately forecast budgets and achieve operating results.
· Submit accurate financial reports on time, including payroll, accounts receivable, expense reports, etc.
· Analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum ROI. Use distribution channels and technology platforms to drive revenue and maximize market share.
· Attend Revenue call.
· Analyze market for appropriate room rates, labor and wages, growth, threats, etc.
· Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working with InnTrusted CEO and Regional Managers to maintain or improve property's market leadership position.
People:
· Develop programs that drive improvements in team member engagement and are alighted with the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand.
· Establish performance and benchmark goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance performance.
· Oversee any salary, disciplinary, or human resource related actions in accordance to company Policy and Procedures.
· Responsible to know, understand, and fulfill the InnTrusted Mission Statement.
· Create guest satisfaction by providing fast, friendly and genuine hospitality.
· Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service.
· Respond to all emergency situations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Responsible for maintaining hotel key security system.
· Inspect rooms weekly and maintain preventive maintenance program.
Guest Loyalty:
· Demonstrate brand loyalty by maintaining compliance with required brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks, and license agreements.
· Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. Collaborate with team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
· Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback, and build relationships.
Responsible Business:
· Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel associates.
· Act as public relations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community.
· Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally conscious.
Physical Requirements:
· Walking and standing required throughout the entire shift.
· Reaching, bending, carrying, stooping throughout the entire shift.
· Lifting up to 50 pounds.
· Drive a vehicle.
· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to safely use them.
· Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries immediately.
Job Requirements:
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Good understanding of engineering principles
· Attention to detail
· Highest level of ethics and integrity
· Ability to problem solve
