Corporate Governance Counsel

Konexo US is seeking an attorney with several years of corporate governance experience for a client engagement. This opportunity is an independent contractor role for project-based work and is ideal for individuals who are freelancing or looking for limited duration opportunities.

  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Work pattern: Full-time, hourly arrangement
  • Contract duration: 6 months, with potential to extend
  • Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

What you should have:

  • 4+ years' experience in-house with corporate governance, including establishing and enhancing corporate record processes, developing best practices for board and committee materials, and managing governance teams and projects
  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Active bar membership in good standing in New York
