Pegasus Technologies Inc. is a private aviation management company which provides a moderate, but focused, range of technical services to government and commercial clientele. These technical services include, but are not limited to research, development, test and evaluation of avionics, aircraft systems and components, and test equipment. PTI has successfully capitalized on its robust aviation consulting, advisory, charting and publication services. PTI provides crews and subject matter experts to a number of sites worldwide, most of which are in support of Department of Defense and Department of State contracts.

We are seeking an HR Generalist to administer and manage a variety of Human Resource programs including: 401(k) Retirement Plan, company's self-insurance health program (medical/dental/vision), short-term disability, life insurance, workers' compensation, time off program, leaves of absence, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), etc. Primary focal point for biweekly payroll processing. Acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations. Additional duties will include providing backup support to the Executive Assistant/Receptionist as needed.

Essential Functions

Provide day-to-day HR support for all HR functions to workforce.

Oversee benefits administration including open enrollment, plan changes, employee communications and support.

Administer and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Oversee new hire onboarding process/actions.

Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, equipment collection, final pay, and termination paperwork.

Responsible for overseeing annual employee performance appraisal reviews.

Maintain accurate HR data and personnel records within our HR systems. Run reports routinely or as necessary to submit to HR Director and managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources plus 4 years of HR work experience strongly preferred.

A combination of education and experience that equals at least 8 years of relevant hands-on HR work experience and training.

OR

At least 8 years of relevant hands-on HR work experience.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel.

Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and privileged information.

Other Skills/Abilities/Requirements

Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Must be a U.S. citizen

Must successfully complete a lengthy security screening process, polygraph and drug screening
