Type: Part-time (Monday through Friday 3:15-5:45 pm)

About Us:

At AAGI Gymnastics, our afterschool program helps children develop healthy habits, build friendships, and enjoy socialization through gymnastics, tumbling, and ninja activities. While we are not a state-licensed daycare, we offer a unique, gymnastics-centered program that stands out in our community.

Your Role:

  • Coach and Mentor: Lead and supervise a group of 13 elementary-aged children of varying physical abilities in gymnastics, tumbling, and ninja activities.
  • Engage and Inspire: Plan and facilitate exciting games and activities that keep kids moving and having fun.
  • Support Learning: Assist with homework during scheduled homework time, providing a balanced mix of fun and focus.
  • Create a Safe Space: Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 3:15-5:45 PM
  • Follows the Comal County school calendar

Training and Growth:

  • New coaches will receive comprehensive training to learn and implement our skills curriculum.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.

What We're Looking For:

  • Enthusiasm for working with children and promoting active lifestyles.
  • Previous experience in gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, or sports is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with children is preferred.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
