Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist (in a part time or full time capacity) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient treatment and comfort. We encourage recent graduates of a hygiene program to apply $1000 sign on bonus- ($500 at time of hire/$500 after 6 months) for FULL TIME Candidates.Full time Status is 27 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
  • Take diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients' gums, teeth, and overall oral health.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
  • Be proactive in maintaining your continuing education credits

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
  • Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
