Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of food safety. Responsibilities

  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the culinary team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
  • Support the Dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to management.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent food service.
