 Job DescriptionThisposition functions as lead DevSecOps/Azure DevOps/OpenShift (Kubernetes)engineer responsible for supporting large State of Michigan Department ofHealth and Human Services Health Services (DHHS) projects.  Contributes considerable business and technicalknowledge to complex IT projects. The DevSecOps / OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer will provide leadership anddirection, mentoring team members to drive organizational maturity. TheDevSecOps/ OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer will also consult with developmentteams to ensure platform fit is aligned to the business applicationrequirements. Additionally, understanding of APIs, micro -services development,containers and supporting platform technologies is also required Qualifications •Experiencewith Azure DevOps (ADO), Designing and Implementing ADO Wiki, Work Itemstructures, Pipelines,  ADO GITrepos/branches/Pull Requests, and related Standards and Processes.•Handson experience in automating CI / CD needs on RedHat OpenShift / OCP, Linux,Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.•Experiencecreating ADO Build and Deploy Pipelines to build Apps and container images anddeploy using standard ADO tasks and for old and new Java and .Net Apps andintegrating with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Oracle, etc.•Experienceproducing Documents for Process and Automation.•Strongexperience with Red Hat OpenShift V4.•Troubleshootthe application issues in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environment.•Experiencein creating Build, Deployment, and other CRD config files for applications onOpenShift.•Hands -onexperience in creating Docker and S2I images, Stateful sets and convertingexisting docker image to an S2I image and vice versa.•Workingknowledge on OpenShift/Kubernetes and Container Orchestration, Custom Helmcharts•Knowledgeon maintaining docker Image Repository like Quay•Experienceand ability to creating docker files, images, and containers.•Workcollaboratively with teams to ensure our products are successfully deployed,upgraded, and maintained.•Deepknowledge and experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)version 8.X and higher.•Elasticstack administration, performance and capacity management including Indexcuration/retention management.•Logstashand pipeline configuration and grok experience.•Workingknowledge of Elastic Beats Filebeat, Heartbeat.•WorkingExperience with SonarQube/Coverity/Black Duck and integrating into ADOPipelines and Pull Request flows•Experiencewith Linux Scripting, .ksh , bash and Python.•Experiencein understanding and debugging Java errors.•StrongKnowledge of SSL, TCP/IP Networking, LDAP.•Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills – works well with diverse teams andindependently•Self -starterwith excellent organization, planning, detail -oriented documentation, and timemanagement skills•Clearand precise verbal and written communication skills.  Easy to understand. RequiredExperience and Skills• A total 8+ years of experience working on Kubernetes / OpenShift. • 8+ years of experience in Linux shell scripting • 5 years as in expert in application containerization management • Experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure, scripting/programming • 5+ years of experience with following skill sets o OpenShift o Azure DevOps o ELK Stack o Docker o SonarQube o Black Duck o Linux o Bash o Shell o S2I o Python o NGINX o WebSphere o LDAP   Requirements Top Skills & Years of Experience: - 8+ years of experience working on Kubernetes - 8+ years of experience working on OpenShift - 8+ years of experience in Linux shell scripting - 5+ years as in expert in application containerization management       - 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure, scripting/programming Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams.
