Berlitz offers training in all living languages, intercultural and management skills. Instruction is available through various delivery platforms (face-to-face, virtual, online, mobile, study abroad) designed to teach the skills, build self-confidence and empower people to succeed on a global stage. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the Spanish Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion to quality language instruction and education, representing as an expert in teaching and ambassador for Berlitz. The instructor teaches the required languages to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles. The instructor also participates in professional development courses and activities, ensuring familiarity with goal-oriented, student-centered instruction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students.

Conduct level assessments and needs-analyses, as assigned by Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist

Work with private and group students at the Learning Center, one of our offsite locations or virtually, assigned by Service Delivery Manager

Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plan to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met

Complete training and professional development modules in @Berlitz Learning website and/or face-to-face live sessions, assigned by Academic Specialist

Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date

Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials

Perform duties as deemed fit for proper execution and delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Eligible to work in the US

Four-year college/university degree or equivalent

Native Fluent in language(s) to teach

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Be flexible in working hours

Be able to take initiative and work independently

Availability during the day.

Type of program*: In person Program.

Schedule details: Class time is Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30, but the instructor is required to arrive 20 minutes early and leave 20 minutes after.

End Date: 5/14/2026

Rate or a rate range: $118 per class (it already includes arrival and departure buffers, miles, transportation, class preparation and documentation, etc.)

Travel requirements: Own transportation

Travel reimbursement: No

Any additional information: The teacher should have good group management skills as the groups may have up to 15 students.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
